Environmental Testing & Environmental Impact Studies

A crucial element of all Environmental work is the testing and monitoring of all aspects of the “environmental mix”. PTMatic carries out a wide range of environmental testing including the completion of comprehensive Environmental Baseline and Impact studies.This work often precedes any other environmental improvement and development activities and involves, for example;

• Carrying out comprehensive testing and analysis of all aspects of a particular situation prior to any actions being taken.  This stage is essential if the true magnitude and nature of any problems are to be identified and the optimum solutions developed;

• Monitoring of the results being achieved during any intervention process;

•  Monitoring of all aspects of any situation following completion of any environmental programme.  In this way, control can be maintained and we can begin to ensure that some of the mistakes of the past are not repeated.

Such monitoring and testing programmes can be performed on any aspect of the environment including, but certainly not restricted to:

• Gaseous and related emissions;

• Soils and other forms of contaminated land;

• Liquids and effluents.

Testing and analysis programmes can be developed and implemented for all required compounds and the levels of accuracy which are demanded by each particular situation.  In all cases the programmes are directed at assisting clients to achieve and maintain the requirements of ISO 14000.
